kensington section of philadelphia promised evacuations and it broke out at 1:00 in the 700 block of east cornwell street. firefighters say they found 19 homeless people inside seeking shelter from the cold. the red cross is now assisting them and no word on what sparked the blaze. the man shot by philadelphia last night has died and investigators say he was driving a car connected to a murder and was not the suspect in the crime.
