kron four's spencer blake is live in berkeley, where firefighters are ready. spencer, how are things looking, as far as fire danger is concerned in the hills. fortunately, at least in this part of the berkeley hills, we've kind of turned the corner now that the sun is down. typically humidity levels go up at night, which will be a big relief for firefighters here.they worry about relative humidity levels in the teens. that would keep stuff really dry like in the oakland hills where there was a fire early last week.fortunately, he relative humidity levels here have been between 25 and 30 percent in the areas firefighters have been measuring.the wind speed hasn't been horrible, either - mostly five to ten miles an houe with gusts of about 15 to 20 miles an hour.
