girard college in north philadelphia is the rallying point for so many people who take this holiday to heart. people got up early this morning, even though it was 14 degrees when i got up to set it up. jeanette reyes is live at girard college, jennette it is a massive set up for what is a great important cause and i am so proud of philadelphia for the way they always come out. >> reporter: yeah, tam that's right it's impressive to see the set up now at 4:30 a.m. it is what martin luther king day is all about what's what the organizers say, let me step out of the way so you can see what's set up right now. this is the largest event of ts kind 150,000 people will serve in two thousand projects most of which takes place in girard college. there will be workshops and job fair and local leaders will be here, governor wolf, mayor kenny, senator bob casey, he will lead volunteers in sorting out and packing food. that food will be distributed to people in need throughout hundreds of philadelphia area nonprofit organizations, all this highlighting the poor peoples campaign which was launched by
