we get atlantic air which will bring some rain. a lot of snow still. particularly in the south—west. some areas, not much snow at all. for most of us, we are seeing the sunshine. that is a welcome change. a chilly wind for england and wales causing the drifts to blow around. temperatures higher than recent days. we have got sunshine today and not much cloud but there is cloud lurking in the north sea. with that northerly wind it will push the cloud inland across england and wales. probably drive pretty much everywhere. it will limit the amount of frost. northern ireland and scotland have clear skies and light winds. here we are closer to the centre of this area of high pressure. it is this which gets rid of that snow falling. we have a cold wind phrased in parts of england. we still have a fair bit of cloud through the day. maybe some drizzly showers. otherwise it will be fine. sunshine at times east of the meridian, western fringes of england and wales. the best of the sunshine for northern ireland. temperatures will be higher than today. seven to 9

we pulled into atlantic city. right now misting a little bit here. but you can see over here over the sea wall into the bay it is not reaching sea level at this point the city here are preparing for coastal flooding. they're going to be watching the back bays here along the atlantic city coastline here. and on the bay we can see there are several homes this area does tend to have some nuisance flooding every now and then. but the atlantic city fire chief last night told us we're expecting more with that and also some potential power outagewise the heavy winds and high rains and possibly 65 mile per hour gusts. the worst part they're expecting would be early tomorrow morning at 8:00 with that flooding. because the high tides are going to be coming in cycles. the first one is going to be a little after 7:30 here in atlantic city. because of that the atlantic city has put in their high-water vehicles for the police. and they've also got protective clothes ready for the firefighters as well. they're just getting ready and being prepared just in the event

we're actually not far from atlantic city. we're here that the ventnor boat launch and i can tell you one of things that has helped at least contain the flooding the winds have been coming out of the northwest. it's a nor'easter of course those northeast winds that caused the problem but because the winds have been out of the northwest the water has pretty much been push back but the concern is that that could change tomorrow especially as we're talking more and more about the high tide. we know high tide is between 8:00 and 9:00 o'clock tonight and then about 8:00, 9:00 o'clock tomorrow morning. emergency crews have really been preparing for couple of days now now. they are anticipating the chance of moderate flooding. the potential of some fairly significant flooding in some spots. we know in atlantic city routes to try to stay off of them and use the ac expressway. in atlantic city high tide 7:58 tonight and then there could be in kind of the bays around an hour and a half later but the big worry as i mentioned is the high
