. >> we're talking philadelphia, pa suburbs, lehigh valley and berks county down into south jersey as well as northern delaware. we're under a first alert for this nor'easter. starts at 4:00 a.m. wednesday morning to 7:00 a.m. saturday morning because we think the aftermath of the snow means there will be more cleanup involved friday. what are we looking at. friday's storm was a wind event that had snow. we're talking accumulating snow in the forecast leading to messy commutes. gusty winds where tree, power lines could come down and be impacted, especially those weakened from this past friday's storm. we have in our neck of the woods, very nice. if you look to the west, you see a big system is forming already. packs a punch with a lot of snow over areas like minneapolis and chicago approaching. this will continue in our direction and soon enough will impact our region. a winter storm watch starts in the poconos and through philly and south jersey county and newcastle county and delaware as well. for some of us, it means you will break out the shovel midweek. it's really nice outside a

so, that doses include berks county, lehigh valley, poconos , allentown, reading, mount pocono, all of you guys included on this. and i do thha head into the next 24 hours, we will see more winter alerts being issued. so keep an eye on that for sure. looking at future weather, now rather quiet, as we head throughout the day today. and much of the day on tuesday then look what happens by tuesday night. we start to see some rain-snow mix beginning to develop right along the i95 corridor. point north and west, dealing with all snow. while places cents south and east, the jersey shore, shore points, delaware, dealing with plane old rain. that will be kind of the similar situation as we head into wednesday morning. as i fast cents forward, we move into wednesday afternoon, and wednesday night, some colder air starts to work it way into the picture. this is actually when we could get some heavier snow fall in locations, and where we see the bulk of the intensity with the storm as we head into wednesday evening, wednesday night, and that's when we could get some heavy snowfall totals as well.

the heavy rain moves into berks county by 9:00. late this evening, 11:00, when tammie souza is updating you and tracking this rain, that's when we'll see some pretty good downpours that will continue into early friday, that's 2:00 tomorrow morning. downpours for philadelphia into south jersey. we'll get breaks, according to the computer model, tomorrow morning, that won't be the end of it. rain continues into the late morning hours and into the afternoon. we've got a long duration storm system with the potential for a lot of rainfall. the forecast rain totals topping an inch for philadelphia, doylestown, pottstown. and because we're getting such a large amount of rain, an inch and a half at allentown, more than an inch at the shore, rain for the entire area, that rain has to go somewhere. it's going to be headed for the streams and rivers. that's going to take some time for it to make its way to the streams and rivers. so the flood threat will continue into the weekend. the heaviest rain tonight and friday. that's not the only prob

berks county into the lehigh valley, rain. parts of delaware. may well be dry in wilmington, philadelphia, trenton, with cloudy skies during the evening hours. here comes the heavier rainfall. this is 11:00 tonight. then overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning, we could see an inch of rain overnight tonight. then additional rain coming through during the day on saturday. and saturday afternoon, there is the heavy rain returning to new jersey, especially along the coastline and even into the suburbs in bucks county. that's 1:30 in the afternoon. notice that little bit of snow to the north, the pocono mountains. good news for skiers. they'll get snow out of this. that is the best part of the storm coming our way. the worst for some neighborhoods is going to be the wind. this is 6:00 tomorrow morning. winds not all that strong. you see they're starting to pick up in wilmington. look to the south, winds of 30 miles per hour for dover and rehoboth. then as we go into friday afternoon, tomorrow afternoon, 41 miles per hour in wilmington. 45 miles
