jessica flores is live with more. good morning. >> reporter: yes, those accusations came in around 8:30 saturday and police have been looking for him ever since. now they're turning to the public asking for help in locating aldon smith. they haven't heard from him since those domestic violence accusations came in and san francisco radio dispatcher recordings happened near bush and stockton and a woman called saying her ex-boyfriend aldon smith was inside the apartment allegedly assaulting her. ( indiscernible ). >> reporter: after he went out that window, police reported to dispatcher that smith got in a black range rover and drove away. tmz reports he recently got engaged to a bay area woman but not clear if that's the victim of the domestic violence report. the victim is facing nonlife threatening injuries. aldon smith has a lengthy rap sheet and he's been arrested at least several times in the last five years for range of assault charges from dui to illegal possession of assault weapons. he was signed to the niners

and kpix 5's jessica flores is live now in south sacramento where police are bracing for protests. jessica. >> reporter: that's right. hundreds of people are still lined up here outside bayside boss community church. they are waiting to get into the funeral. more protests are planned later today in the city after tensions have been running high here for 11 days following the police shooting of the unarmed 22-year-old man sparked outrage. al sharpton is delivering the eulogy. he is here and he called the shooting an atrocity. we have been talking to people here who are grieving and calling for the district attorney to prosecute the two officers involved. now, on march 18th, police say they pursued clark after a call of someone smashing car windows. police released body camera footage showing two officers opening fire shooting at clark 20 times in his grandparents' backyard. they thought he had a gun but only had a cell phone. protests have erupted in sacramento. protestors blocked entrances to two kings games and disrupted city council meetings. police expect more demonstrations tod

and jessica flores is joining us live with more details. >> reporter: this home wood suites is now clear and folks are back in their hotel rooms after the police and the bomb squad searched this entire area for explosives. they evacuated sfshl blocks -- several blocks. jeremy guy and ronald guy from river bank, california were arrested for having destructive devices and materials used to make districtive devices. the father and son were arrested after a massive operation here at this hotel. officers evacuated several blocks around embarcadero around 6 p.m. and the bomb squad searched the hotel room the men shared. they have not said exactly what they found inside the hotel room or whether or not they found explosive materials in the room. police first arrested jeremy after a traffic stop when chp found materials to make explosives inside his car. that led them to obtain a search warrant for the hotel room. they do not know if the two men had plans to use the explosive materials or what it exactly was. we will bring more information to you as we learn it. but the investigation is ongoing.

jessica flores reports from richmond. critics say they are violating california's sanctuary law. >> reporter: good morning. we are at the west county jail here in richmond. this is really the only detention facility for undocumented immigrants in the bay area. actually, the facility has a contract with i.c.e. and this is where they jail them. under a new state law the sanctuary state law local law enforcement agencies aren't supposed to communicate when they release undocumented immigrants or really any information with i.c.e. but according to some attorneys here in the county, the county is finding a way around it by tipping off i.c.e. agents about the release dates by publishing them online. in january the sanctuary state law came in effect. on february 18th, contra costa county began publishing the release dates of all inmates, including undocumented immigrants. sanctuary state law sb54 prohibits local law enforcement from sharing information with immigration authorities and typically including release dates. we spoke

kpix 5's jessica flores live with the latest. >> reporter: living alameda now or about to, traffic moving nicely right now but about to move slowly because crews will be closing one lane later on this morning and delays could last all week. it all starts around 10:00 a.m.. that's when crews really start the work. they're going to repair a sinkhole that opened up near the exit on the oakland side near sixth and harrison street. a failed storm drain caused the sinkhole here at the posey tube. begins on webster street in alameda and goes under water to connect with harrison street in oakland. ac transit said all the buses that use posey tube will have detours and what normally takes about five minutes, could take 30 minutes or 40 minutes so they're asking folks really take some time to get through this mess. this will last from 10:00 a.m. till midnight and crews working all week to make repairs on oakland side but they have to close one lane of posey tube in order to make repairs. back to you. >>> thank you. a sinkhole repair job in san francisco will create problems for drivers as well. hay

jessica flores is live at the scene with the latest. >> reporter: we are at 40th street and market street. this is a couple of blocks from the macarthur bart station. it all happened in front of this home behind me. you can see this grassy area in front of me. that's where this man was shot and killed by police. video captured the sound of the gunshots. >> [ sound of gunfire ] >> reporter: according to oakland police officers they yelled for the man to drop the weapon. the man did not comply with commands and was shot by several officers. in fact, four officers were involved. no officers were hurt. it all started around 6 pm when someone reported a man down on the street. when firefighters arrived, according to the fire department, they saw the man had a handgun. >> the police showed up and there was a perimeter formed after they identified that the individual was armed and was on the ground. ones that perimeter was set up they called in an armored vehicle. after the armored vehicle came in there was an engagement that happened between the individual and the police. that's all we know at

jessica flores is live in fremont to break down the evidence of the lawsuit. >> reporter: good morning. the alameda county district attorney's office found that those officers who shot and killed that pregnant teenage girl acted lawfully. she was not the intended target. now her family has enlisted a high profile attorney suing the fremont police department, blaming her for the teenagers death. this all happened a year ago. it happened in hayward. fremont police shot and killed alina mondragon who was in the passenger's seat. police were after the driver who was in that stolen bmw. investigators say the car had the linked to a string of armed robberies and when undercover officers closed in on the suspect police say he accelerated toward them. that's when police opened fire and shot and killed the teenage girl. the da investigation finds the overwhelming credible and admissible evidence shows that the involved officers acted lawfully and in self-defense. the attorney for the teenagers family, john burris, says the officers are to blame and now the family says they want justice. >> the
