we're live near lucky drive, pete suratos for "today in the bay." >> thank you, pete. >>> kari, you've been telling us about this, we're going to see this off and on throughout the day. when will we see the big part of that storm? >> that moves in later tonight and throughout the day tomorrow. this is part of a bigger storm system that's bringing in some subtropical moisture from hawaii and an atmospheric river spans about 200 to 300 miles wide, but the length goes back about 2500 miles, so this is a big storm system and it takes a while for it to work its way through the bay area. so as we get a look at more and more rain coming off of the pacific, this is what we will see as the day goes along and embedded in that we get these little disturbances that causes the rain to boost up in totals and also brings down gustier winds. once again we will get that for tonight into tomorrow. i will be tracking that and i will be back in less than three minutes with another weather update. >> thank you, kari. we want to get -- make sure that you are ready for the brunt of the storm as it barrels th
