kpix 5's jackie ward is live in san francisco with the latest. >>> reporter: it's a political nail-biter, that's for sure. so, yeah, michele, the results have not been called yet. so we still don't know and can't be sure who the next mayor of san francisco is. but we do have some of the latest numbers for you this morning. so board of supervisor president london breed is first with 35.64%. state for mark leno is second with 25.92%. and supervisor jane kim is in third with 22.84% of the vote. however, when you take ranked choice into consideration, the numbers get closer because voters can rank their top three candidates. so state senator mark leno leads with less than 2,000 votes and .4vote. board president breed has 49.58%. it's close. we were at london breed's election watch party last night where it was a celebration. early indicators showed her with a lead over leno. if she would win, breed would be the first black woman elected as mayor of san francisco. >> this campaign is a winning campaign because we have brought so many people together. >> yeah! >> we have brought people togethe
