it does show the as build as we opened fremont on october 14. we are done with our sampling. as the blue line would indicate, we are in the middle of that testing procedure. it does show two weeks, but additional may be required depending on what it shows us next week. that gets us into the all very important element of findings and results. that's where we will get our root cause. once we get that root cause, then, that's where the finalization of the design and the actual fix comes from, so we're getting methodically to that step as efficiently as possible, and then, the design will be reviewed and approved by the peer review. just as a quick update on first street, similarly, that's where we have identical design over there. there still has been no cracks, no identified items looic thike found over there, but we continue to look in that area as well because of a similar design to ensure what is necessary, if anything for redundancy over there. what we have in place is currently a three-level system of shoring that are ares at the train platform level and -- -- that are at

yes, tonight the fremont city council will consider whether or not to enter into a service agreement to allow lime to place its shared bicycles and escooters here on the city sidewalks. you'll recall that there have been headaches in other towns with companies like lime and other companies that put these e-shared vehicles on the streets especially in san francisco. there were concerns the scooters were crowding sidewalks and riders and pedestrians were getting hurt. lime has had to removed scooters made by the chinese company called okai after reports those scooters could break in two. lime sent us a statement saying "safety is lime's highest priority" adding "okai's scooters were decommissioned immediately and will be replaced with scooters considered best in class for safety." the company is working with the consumer products safety commission because reportedly some okai scooters broke apart under normal riding conditions. contractor for lime tells us that he and his colleagues regularly inspect those scooters for safety. >> everybody on all three of those teams look for defects w

here is a live look outside at 880 and fremont. everything is looking much better this morning for your drive, and some low 50s to start out. upper 50s for the afternoon, and looking at storm ranger showing nowhere in the bay area are we seeing rain, yet, but there will be another storm system moving in. i'll track that for you and help make some weekend plans coming up. mike has an update on the crash in san jose. >> kari, we're talking about northbound 280 as you head up around bird. we had that report of a crash, a car hit the center divide and was seen spinning around. that's the last we heard. chp got on scene and said no major injuries in there. they're clearing up this crash here, so there will be activity just north of downtown on northbound 280, and 101 shows a little slowing traditionally past the 680 interchange, holding steady but clear by the time we get to alum rock. the rest of the bay shows a great drive, eastbound 580 still shows some slowing getting over toward the altamont pass. the paving work still has to cure,

mike, is it still moving slowly through fremont? >> it is, because we have that crash, tracking that northbound 880. if you're driving out of milpitas or the south bay trying to get up to the dumbarton bridge, there is an issue past stevenson, the stevenson on-ramp sounds like, right where you make the merge. crash involving four vehicles, one of them was reportedly a dump truck so that will be a spectacle. folks are slowing from north of auto mall parkway and that is a tough section for your drive there. number of surface streets you might choose if you can delay getting on to the freeway to just mortgage north of the area. we have not seen any slowing, it only affects the capital expressway on-ramp, that is popular there but that is going to slow you down a bit getting on to the freeway, not on the freeway itself and the crash west 80 at buchanan cleared around golden gate field. more traffic own the metering lights are on at the bay bridge. back to you. >> thank you very much, mike. >>> 6:09 right now. if you were in the south ba
