i love the state of west virginia. i don't have new jersey values like senator manchin he votes like the senator from new jersey and from washington. that's very different from a conservative fighter for president trump. i'm going to work with this president to cut taxes, to reduce regulations, i'm a hardworking job -- on the hardworking job creators of our state. we're going to tackle the opioid epidemic, have high quality health care that protects people with predepisting conditions and make sure we drain that swamp. i support temple nipts and i want to make sure that west virginia gets the conservative leadership it deserves. the reality is, when you hear from me, you can count on what i say. unfortunately, senator manchin, you can't trust anything he says. moderator: listen, thank you both. we've had a spirited discussion here tonight. and i certainly appreciate you both being here and having this debate. thanks for allowing me to interrupt at times. let's all just shake hands, shall we, at the end. thank you both.

he was in west virginia and indiana. a west virginia, you know about that senate race, patrick morrisey against joe k manchin. and this is where all of the polls come together. joe manchin appears to have the lead by about eight points, but let me take you back two years. this is an extraordinary thing. these were presidential results from 2016 in west virginia. do the math, sean. that's 42 points where the president was a winner and that is again why he thinks he's got a good shot flipping that seat. by the way, congressional seat number three is up for grabs. pop over to indiana, state that he won by 15 points two years ago. the senate race there, we know what it is. it's joe donnelly the democrat and mike braun at the republican. if you look at the polls and smash them altogether, it looks like donnelly has a one point lead there. last night we did a "what if" for the senate for you. let's dial this up and tell me where you think something could give. we started with 51-49, republican-democrat. you said missouri flips

we head into ohio and west virginia. at 8:00, this is where you start to digest the data. this is where you start to get an idea as to which way perhaps this race is going on the house side. here's what i'm looking at shawna. we have at the moment at least 29 races that we think are pure toss-ups. but in pennsylvania with the contours in new jersey, we have eight different races that we think are in play. red is leaning republican, blue liens democrat and the yellow ones are pure toss-ups. it's my hunch, and i don't know if you agree or disagree, but i think democrats could win net three house seats in pennsylvania. but yet they went redistricting back in january. i think if they do better than three they could be in for a good night for the democrats. >> sean: if it's a big change though, when they gerrymandered again, that was a big deal. and you are right, they redid the districts for the very purpose that they could pick up these seats. >> if it's higher than that ty could be off to a good night, if it's at three or
