karen good morning. >>it is 11:00am here in washington and this is the hour that attorney general bill barr said he would be sending his redacted version of the mueller report to capitol hill for lawmakers to review and eventually the public all wrapped up a news conference here at the justice department just about an hour ago and which he talked more about the redaction process about interactions between the justice department and the white house in the run-up to the release of the report and also about his conclusion. the president and obstruction of justice. >>attorney general william barr addressing reporters at the department of justice thursday prior to the release of the special counsel's findings explaining the conclusions laid out in his march letter. so that's the bottom line. >>the special counsel confirmed. that the russian government sponsored efforts to illegally interfere with the 2016 presidential election. but did not find that the trump campaign or other americans colluded in those effo

karen tumulty, have norms changed? >> yeah, i think that the #meo movement is sort of evolving from a movement into a norm, and by that i mean part of all of this is all of us understanding that, when women come forwarde with thcounts, that we both give them the benefit ofin the doub their version of events, but also the benefit in the doubt of tlhe vaidity of their feelings about it. but, at the same time, i think we do have to recognize that not every offense has carried the same degree of severity and that, you know, a lot of these c jume from, you know, behavior thats just clueless. and if the person who is, you know, alleged to have committed these sort of understands t degree to which this behavior makes pple uncomfortable and is sensitive to that, i do think that thre reaought to be, you know, a path to redemption, for lesser offeers, as it were. >> woodruff: i want to explore that but i want to come back, too, to what you said, professor dobbin. you talked about a generational shift. you know, what did you mean
