in the bay area, the trial of the deadly ghost ship warehouse fire is wrapping up. state and county prosecutor's lunch closing arguments against the two defendants. >> reporter: i was in the courtroom all day today, the prosecutor started the year closing arguments. they started with a in emotional know and finished on an emotional no. they first started with all of the victims photos and saying their names. the prosecutor said the defendants acted with criminal negligence. that they should have known any violation of the fire code is a crime. he listed all of the names of the victims and showed their photos. one by one. one of the victims shown, was his sister. >> it is difficult every time. are the prosecutor said that throughout this case, the defendants acted in reasonable. with disregard to human life and indifference to the consequences. he cited the defendants, saying that they failed to get permits. failed to install a sprinkler system. failed to connect an audible alarm. he said when the fire broke out , quote everybody upstairs was in the worst place that
