let's go to jessica schneider and our legal analyst laura coates. jessica, why did this judge deny the justice department's request to switch its legal team in the census case? >> wolf, this is a biting order from this new york federal judge, jesse fuhrman. in his three-page order, he goes into detail, really slamming the justice department for making this request to withdraw certain attorneys that have been representing them in this census case up until this point and asking to substitute these lawyers. this judge saying that the department of justice did not give any satisfactory reasons for changing these attorneys and, in fact, gave no reason at all for changing these attorneys and that's why the judge in this case has denied this request to change these attorneys. and, wolf, this is a big procedural setback for the department of justice. their plan has been multi-fasciated. they're attacking this census case to put this citizenship question on the 2020 census on multiple levels. they are fighting this in courts across the country. federal court
