police in tacoma, washington shot and killed an armed man attacking an i.c.e. detention center early this morning, it happened when police responded to reports of a man armed with a rif rifle. he attempted to set a large propane tank on fire. officers arrived on the scene and fired shots at the suspect. when they located him, the officers found a rifle along with a satchel and flares. police have not yet released his identity. we'll be watching that. >>> also i.c.e. raids may have already begun. in america's most popular city, these are the raids that president trump says should start tomorrow. but new york city mayor and presidential candidate bill de blasio tweeted this, receiving report of temptattempted but unsuccessful i.c.e. enforcement actions in sunset park and harlem, adding advocates were going door to door to distribute resources. nbc has not confirmed that report. new york is one of the nine cities targeted by the plan. already anti-i.c.e. protests sprang up in cities throughout the country. we'll keep an eye on those throughout the day. friday mike
