here is meteorologist frances dinglasan for lisa argen hi, frances. >>> get ready for another hot day. but temperatures cooler for some and then a lot cooler for beaches appear coast. a look at live doppler 7 we have quiet conditions mostly clear around the bay area. you notice clouds filling in though at the beaches. and that's because we have a little bit of an on shore flow. that's allowing temperatures to be a little bit cooler for today. in fact check out half moon bay right now. only 48 degrees. san francisco 62. still lots of 60s around the bay. mountain view 58. and then still very warm in some areas like clear lake 69 right now. brentwood at 66. gorgeous view from san francisco. looking at those clear skies right now. sunrise at 6:50. temperatures in the 50s and 60s. by lunch time already pretty warm inland in the mid-80s. and then still hot this afternoon. inland areas hitting the upper 90s around the bay. you'll find it more comfortable. mid-80s and even upper 70s. but at the coast you notice it's much cooler we'll see upper 60s to low 70s. and that's down from yesterday. w

here is frances dinglasan in for lisa argen. >> good morning, everyone it's another hot day inland but temperatures come down a few degrees and coming down a lot foor the beaches. here is why. let's look at live doppler 7. and the satellite image, low coastal clouds. the on shore flow coming back bringing cooler temperatures but high pressure in place place for the inland areas and we still expect poor air quality for the inland east bay and santa clara value valley and that's why the spare the air alert today.
