[ knocking ] it started as a knock on the door early this morning. a knock andrea liggett did not hear because she was up stairs in the shower, and then that knock got louder. just hear a loud comotion in the shower. >> dogs were barking. >> dogs barking. >> reporter: she thought it was her husband returning home at first. then, her 9-year-old son ran up stairs. >> he just look at me like i don't know what is going on, mom. >> andrea knew somebody was trying break in to her home. her surveillance camera outside capturing the video. showing two men. one of them with a mask kicking in the door after several attempts. >> i grabbed a towel, wrapped myself in the towel. and again, just yelling as loud as i could, because i didn't know what was going on. >> the suspect sped a way when they heard after frantic call from his wife,
