state of florida it's an air force base the patrick air force base which is on the atlantic coast in south east florida is being evacuated because of reports of a bomb threat received around 3 o'clock local time that's just over an hour and a half ago now police and fire services and also ordinance departments are investigating the scene has been evacuated to safety but of course this comes just hours after a deadly shooting at another base in florida the pensacola naval academy which is about a 100 kilometers away in the northwest of the state which as we heard earlier from our correspondent it's now thought that the shooter was a saudi national an air force officer who was training there that's not an active situation the situation of the patrick air force base is that's being investigated certainly nothing to link the 2 at the moment but right now 2 military installations in the u.s. state of florida that have had incidents reported there we'll keep you posted on what happens in both of those instances. that's your r.t.d. news for now thanks for watching your next update from us f
