ktvu's allie rasmus live for us this morning at dublin elementary with more on the story. >> $33 million to be exact. that's the amount of money the dublin school board approved and ermarked last night to make major renovations and repairs to this elementary school. this is dublin elementary, one of the oldest schools in the district at almost 60 years old. over the thanksgiving break, heavy rains caused damage inside. parts of the roof came in. ceiling tiles came down. and some of the leaking flooded several classrooms and rooms at the school. some of the classrooms had to be relocated to other parts of the campus. parents voiced their frustration at a special school board meeting and the board heard their complaints. they voted to sarts of the school. >> we'll be rebuilding probably about half of what this campus is,s and the office. it will definitely take a few years before any significant changes are made to the campus but the good thing is now the money is allocated and that can happen. and that wasn't the case yesterday. >> what's coming for dublin voters in the spring, the school

allie rasmus. >> it's friday. >> you can do just about everything. we don't have you doing weather just yet. >>> i take the compliment i love rosemary she is a good friend. let's start with the drive in the south bay. because overall things are looking pretty good if you look at the maps the only problem we have to tell you about is southbound 101 north of blossom hill. there's that stalled vehicle according to the chp blocking a couple of the lanes. and then we have northbound 280 at sand hill road an earlier crash that should be in the clearing stages as well. from there up to take a look at the rest of 880 from oakland all the way down through hayward. and fremont into union city. everything here looks good. there's no major slow downs on 880 unlike a typical friday morning. but you see quite a few cars on the road at this hour. see traffic moving at the limitnorth and southbound past the coliseum a quick check of the toll plaza people who normally head into the city for work or other events have the day off and they are just staying at home. so t

allie rasmus reports his comes after a mudslide affecting drivers and pedestrians. >> reporter: drivers heading westbound on san bruno avenue near crest moore should be aware that one lane of traffic is closed and that is because of what is right next to it, this is a landslide that happened earlier this week doing heavy rain. according to the city manager's office a 30 foot chunk of dirt slid down into the canyon below. these are some pictures from the other side of it. this happened earlier this week during some of the heavy rain right along the eastern portion of san bruno avenue between crest moore and glenview drive. because of the slide is about 10 feet between the sidewalk and the edge of that slope. the sidewalk on this side of the street, the westbound direction is closed and as we showed you a minute ago there's about 300 feet of on the westbound lanes closed to traffic as well as a caution. the city manager says no homes or private property are threatened by this but by declaring a local state of emergency and will allow the city to get the hillside short of quickly and relea
