refugee agency joining us from geneva kelly thanks for your time one of the things i've read about this forum is that you're actually. consulting refugees themselves throughout the whole process which sounds different from the sort of usual ideas of gathering and talking and maybe pledging money or support. indeed thanks thanks 1st of all for your for your interest and attention indeed refugees are right at the center of this global refugee forum both refugee participants speakers refugee led organizations and this really came to a combination last december when the general assembly adopted the global compact on refugees it was with their ideas their their ingenuity to try to drive what we're looking at in terms of solutions this is not going to be your normal un meeting by any stretch we have over 3000 people that will be joining us from all walks of life from government international organizations non-governmental organizations civil society and business in order to try to find solutions to these refugee situation some of them which have been going on for decades what do you want to c
