as we zoom in on the north bay, napa at 31. we're at 42 in cloverdale and santa rosa at 34 degrees. the seven-day forecast is already up at the bottom of the screen as we talk about how cold it has been. now yesterday morning when you walked out of the door it was really windy and that wind mixes it up and makes it not as cold. so that is why we had those mid-40s in parts of the north bay and it may be breezy where we see the temperatures a little bit higher and then where with we did have the freezing temperatures we called them wind-sheltered valleys. they are not getting as much as the wind and temperatures have been dropping down into the 20s and 030s so the reason why you see a huge difference in temperatures over a short difference and thousand the wind is calming down. much more of a calm wind today compared to yesterday and temperatures warming up just a lit for this afternoon. morgan hill reaching 62 degrees. and 61 in cupertino. east bay high temperatures up to 63 in danville. we've also had the sinking air clear skies due to the high pressure that is just off to our west.
