as we zoom in on the north bay, napa at 31. we're at 42 in cloverdale and santa rosa at 34 degrees. the seven-day forecast is already up at the bottom of the screen as we talk about how cold it has been. now yesterday morning when you walked out of the door it was really windy and that wind mixes it up and makes it not as cold. so that is why we had those mid-40s in parts of the north bay and it may be breezy where we see the temperatures a little bit higher and then where with we did have the freezing temperatures we called them wind-sheltered valleys. they are not getting as much as the wind and temperatures have been dropping down into the 20s and 030s so the reason why you see a huge difference in temperatures over a short difference and thousand the wind is calming down. much more of a calm wind today compared to yesterday and temperatures warming up just a lit for this afternoon. morgan hill reaching 62 degrees. and 61 in cupertino. east bay high temperatures up to 63 in danville. we've also had the sinking air clear skies due to the high pressure that is just off to our west.

take a look at traffic at the bay bridge. metering lights are on and you got a backup into the maze at this point. so your approaches starting to see some slow-and-go conditions as well. westbound 580, you will see a few brake lights. not doing too bad. that nimitz freeway is okay through there. about a 20 minute drive time as you head out. hayward into foster city. that trek over towards 11, so definitely seeing a few more brake lights. as you head westbound. those taillights, heading in that direction, eastbound cannot sing any delays. heading towards the east bay there. south bend 880, that trouble spots now cleared out of lanes. so still slow. northbound 11 in the south bay, you got a lot of brake lights. things are definitely starting to fill in on that the northbound side of 101 coming out of 260. we zoom in, we are seeing slower speeds down is authorities as you head through there. it gets a little bit better once you pass that 880 interchange. taking a look here, traffic along 237. 11 minutes is your drive time over t

at 6 and santa rosa at 60 and san jose at 68. the temperatures will dip down in the mid-40s and keep the clouds in the overnight hours to help keep the temperatures from dropping anymore than they should. santa rosa is going to 40. typically they are in the 30s. tomorrow we won't have as many as high clouds. future cast for tomorrow morning and the one thing that does stand out we start to build in a little bit of the marine layer and stratus clouds in the bay. this is not going to be widespread. should not be an issue with fog. an offshore breeze tomorrow. no issues with fog and the clouds will clear out. plenty of sunshine for the daytime highs tomorrow. and if we take a look at what is brewing off of the coast there is a storm out there. if you just saw that, you will go hey, maybe we will get lucky and we will see rain from this. but if i play that forward watch what happens that thing. it will get stopped in its track and falls apart. the big block in the atmosphere is strong. the storms are not getting here. in the meantime
