antioch police say a woman and a man sitting in their parked suv were targeted and shot. this happened at the 7-eleven parking lot. and just within the past hour, a tow truck arrived to remove the white suv that the couple was sitting in when they were shot. making multiple shell casings, as you can see there, crime scene tape locked up the entire parking with several vehicles still parked inside overnight. police have not identified a gunman but have said the man and woman were sitting in there has to be when they were shot multiple told times. >> it seems they were seated in the vehicle and they were targeted by subject to approached them on foot. >> police have not found or identified the gunman. the women in that suv died from their injuries at the scene. the man was taken to john muir medical center. antioch police have not identified the victims and we are not sure if some of the businesses in this area, including that 7-eleven may have surveillance video that will help investigators piece together what happened here and find the person or people responsible, but we

it also comes in response to the antioch police department's hiring of a former san francisco police officer who was involved in the fatal shooting of a homeless man four years ago. berkeley could soon become the first city in the country to assign unarmed transportation workers to conduct traffic stops instead of police officers. the proposal is part of the effort currently taking place across the country to redefine law enforcement. the counselors going to take up the traffic measure on tuesday. a fatal shooting is now raising more questions. a police officer shot and killed sean monterrosa after firing a rifle from the backseat of an unmarked police truck . it was the latest incident in which a local police officer shot and killed a suspect from inside a police vehicle. they said they could face great danger of thicket of the cars during some of these tense situations, but civil rights to turn attorney john burris says the risks are too great. >> shooting from the inside of car is a potentially very dangerous thing. because number one, you can create danger for the person in the c
