as we head over to steve paulson, i heard a lot of that thunder you were talking about in yosemite. did not see any lightning likely because we heard some very big thunder and some ominous clouds we were seeing as we are at the very top of yosemite falls. it wouldn't have been good to see lightning. >> yeah, they were very close. moreover to the north of you, but they were close. today looks a little quieter for the sierra nevada. there will be a very quiet pattern here that just has a grip on us, so if you like it enjoy, if you don't, i don't see much teacher going forward. there's just a locked in pattern here. thunderstorm activity was really widespread up in the northern sacramento valley. it looks a little choir today. san jose is cloudy. the low clouds of made it there to san jose. they have been hit and miss in this pattern but today they haven't. there's an onshore breeze out today. vacaville hit 103 yesterday and travis mill was 91. we are in between pressures so temperatures near average to a little below or a little above that only by one. over to sal and say good morning
