because donald trump adds fuel to every fire. >> donald trump adds fuel to every fire. what joe biden was talking about specifically in that portion of his speech are the recent protests in wisconsin over the police shooting of jacob blake. he remains in the hospital, reportedly paralyzed after a police officer shot him in the back seven times. today the president remarkably defended the actions of a 17-year-old militia member who is charged with shooting and killing two protesters in wisconsin last week, saying without any apparent basis that that young man probably would have been killed had he not shot the two people who he killed. tomorrow president trump is set to visit kenosha over the objections of kenosha's mayor and the objections of the state's governor. wisconsin governor tony evers sent a letter to president trump today urging him to reconsider this trip, saying, quote, i am concerned your presence will only delay our work to overcome division and move forward together. but where there is fire, this president is always standing by, ready with more fuel. so a

donald trump likes money. the saudis and the russians have lots of money, ergo, donald trump will not criticize the saudis and russians no matter what they do because he wants some sweet, sweet cash on the other end of this gig. >> it certainly appears that way, chris. i'd also add, as michael cohen did, though we all acknowledge that michael cohen is a felon who has served time in jail, but nonetheless, this desire for power, for self-aggrandizement -- >> right. >> for everything to be about one's self. we see that in what michael cohen said and what we've all seen in donald trump's adoration of kim jong-un in north korea. i mean, seriously? what is there to have an adoration about exactly? >> yeah, that's a good point because i think obviously there is a corruption angle here, right? there is a sort of looking for financial incentives, and i think with the saudis and the russians that's clear, but i guess you could say donald trump doesn't have a lot of beliefs, but one of them is, like, dictatorship is good

trump. it was a saturday afternoon in mid-november and president trump was seemingly rushed off to walter reed medical center. it was surprised and it led a lot of questions to what may have went wrong for the president that may lead to a rushed trip. >> the president leaving on an unannounced trip to walter reed medical center with his personal physician right by his side. the saturday's visit was different from his two presidential physicals raising concerns of his health. those were on his official schedule took more than four hours and were not done in phases. >> that was late last year, mid november. the white house later cooked up some weird story about how that sudden unannounced trip to walter reed had been a long plan segment of the president's annual physical and he was doing a bit of it as if physicals are a thing that's happening in the episode of the course of the season. it was very strange. that's not how physicals work. president trump is the oldest person ever elected to the

and yet, that is what trump said after he won. there have been numerous studies done on the issue of voter fraud in our country. they have all concluded, essentially, in the same way -- voter fraud in the u.s. is extremely rare. a study by dartmouth university found no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2016 election. an article in the new york times from 2016 stated, "in an election in which more than 137 million americans cast ballots, election officials in the district of columbia, democratic leaning, republican leaning, and in between, said that so far, they knew of no credible allegations of fraudulent voting." officials in another eight states said they knew of only one allegation. in georgia, where more than four million people cast ballots, officials said they were opening inquiries and 25 cases into "suspicious voting." but inquiries to all 50 states -- everyone but kansas responded -- found no states that reported indication of widespread fraud. one report reviewed elections that had been studied for voter fraud.

they did -- they pulled a trump on trump. whatever it is that he was looking for, whatever it is that he wanted, they were prepared to give it to him, so long as they could get an exclusive, that they could get a weekly interview, that he would make phone calls in, you know, to them in order to discuss what he's doing and give them access behind the, you know, the blue ropes. >> the -- the other twist in this part of the book is that this fox host who called the president and sort of pledged this secret loyalty to him, this secret, you know, i'm behind you all the way, although i can't say so publicly, this is also somebody with whom you had an ongoing relationship. he had confided into you about some legal matters and some business interests and also things that were going wrong in his -- his marriage and worries about a divorce. i mean, was that a factor here? was he saying this to the president in front of you is also giving you sort of assurances all these things that you know about me. don't worry, i'm going to be good.
