. >> right now you're looking at storm surge inside a casino's garage in biloxi, mississippi. zeta is the strongest hurricane to hit the continental u.s. this late in the season in more than a century. let's check in with mike nicco. mike, i know you've been following this as well. >> yeah. it's moving rapidly. it's in the beautiful southwest corner of north carolina where it's supposed to be leaf season. it's the most beautiful time of the year in this part of the country because of the yellows, the oranges, the reds. it's just phenomenal. people flock there from hours away every weekend. unfortunately all those tries are getting stripped. there's also the potential for flooding in valley town, cashiers, franklin and highlands where someone dear to me family's from. it's still packing 70 miles per hour winds. the fact it's moving so quickly means it could have additional winds within the thunderstorms. look how wide the swath of radar returns are. all the way back to wichita, down towards oklahoma city and up towards boston. as it moves the next 4 hours at a 50 miles per hour
