connecticut as you mentioned is a case about contraception. and what's really interesting about that is that was the case where the court recognized that although the constitution does not explicitly protect the right to privacy it can be found in the pen umbra of other rights. and it was that that was used as a basis for roe versus wade and other case that's have come afterwards. i think her refusal to acknowledge that griswold was correctly decided should be concerning to anybody who cares about the future viability of roe versus wade. it was also part of the foundation for a case called lawrence versus texas which protects sex between same-sex partners. so on lgbt rights i think it also causes great concern. especially for a judge who as she sat there answering questions made reference not to sexual orientation but to sexual preference. this is someone who i think should concern us about the continued viability of abortion rights and lgbt rights. >> that is one of the points that they made, that griswold versus connecticut and eisenstadt v.
