i'm elissa harrington, ktvu fox 2 news. >>> the dunlevy fire burning in the chest and tehama county has now burned more than 56,000 acres. it is only 50 percent contained . four people have been killed in the fire and today we learned two firefighters have been injured. it started last sunday and has destroyed 170 homes and other structures in a four state area southwest of reading. this is the same area that burned two years ago by the dairy car wildfire. >>> the august complex valley has burned almost 980,000 acres in mendocino, lake, trinity and humboldt counties. firefighters are battling high temperatures, trying to increase containment in fact containment on that fire is up to 51 percent. 51 structures have been destroyed in the fire, but 11,000 remain threatened. >>> and listen to this, california is about 20,000 acres shy of reaching 4 million acres burned by wildfires this year, that's just an unprecedented figure. as of today, there are more than 17,000 firefighters working to contain 23 major wildfires across the state. about two dozen new wildfires broke out yesterday alone,

elissa harrington joins us live with what we know. >> reporter: this event was organized by a group called team save america, at least one person was injured in the event, when both sides clashed. >> this is what they did to me, i am at the hospital now. >> reporter: philip anderson, the organizer of saturday's rally, posted a video of himself in a hospital bed, missing his front tooth. it was knocked out during a fight with counter protesters, anderson is with team save america, a conservative activist group, they held a rally at san francisco's plaza to protest censorship. the conservative activists were outnumbered by hundreds of counter protesters, many were all-black, held anti-fascist signs and some carried pictures of black men and women killed by police, they carried shields as they marched down market street. >> no matter what, we are all going to stand together and be strong, we are going to stand together and be strong together. >> reporter: he took the stage and criticized those who opposed the group and injured him. >> look at what you did! look at it! you knocked my teeth out
