it has some potential to do some damage along the gulf coast and our meteorolgist rebecca strom is tracking that storm's path for us right now. >>been actually downgraded to a category 2 hurricane but we're not even close to being out of the woods as it makes its way out of the yucatan peninsula it could start to really ramp up as it goes through the gulf of mexico and it could be upgraded to that category 3 or 4. by the time that it reaches landfall in us by friday that's what we're predicting as a matter of fact a storm surge watch has already been in effect along the coast all the way from texas out to the florida. alabama border because of that we're seeing sustained winds of 85 miles per hour. but those are expected to reach a 100 and even more so as we get over the next couple of days little bit closer to home. we're also seeing an unsettled weather pattern we're seeing a cool down around the bay area, lots of fog and lots of sunshine that we're seeing tomorrow in the low 70's inland 60's at the bay and at the coast low 60's and then that chance of rain as we're watching a storm syste
