kpix 5 is juliette goodrich live at the alameda farmers market. julia. >> ken, this testing site will be up and running tomorrow. he moved to this location but people are saying why was this not put up months ago? and why are there testing sites across town with people lighting up who are not high priority. san francisco is in the midst of a major surge in -- they are doing more than 57 tests a day and as the numbers ramp-up, officials are worried there sites are going to get jammed up. -- is an essential worker needs to be tested. >> people are list -- risking their lives. one of the busiest test sites in the city has been jammed up by more than just essential workers. or those who have been in contact with someone who has covid. in the city's testing sites are meant for people that are underinsured or have more access to healthcare. and are symptomatic or have had close contact with somebody who has covid. >> we are moving more testing resources where the virus is most concentrated in the city. >> the same day walk up to the testing sites opd
