senators marsha blackburn and chuck grassley are here this morning to get into it. markets acting this morning mixed. take a look at futures indicating a fractional move for the dow industrials, but the nasdaq is selling off and selling off hard. it is down another 183 points right now, one and-a-half percent, as the rollover of big tech continues. the s&p 500 down 20 points as interest rates move higher once again. markets were mixed last week, similar story. we had a strong jobs report, that kept the dow industrials in positive territory. it was the nasdaq that was down once again last week, the third down week in a row with a decline last week on the nasdaq of 2%, that is extending this morning. one issue, interest rates moving higher. take a look at the 10 year treasury, topping 1.6% this morning. it is pulling back from that right now at 1.59%, up 2.7 basis points. crude oil also on the upswing, its highest level since october of 2018. after the world's largest crude terminal in saudi arabia was attacked, crude oil now at $66.28 a barrel. european markets are m
