they were able to strength eastbound fire lines around the area. it has torched 2800 acres. and the fire is burning in the ventana wilderness. that is close to hot springs. hundreds of people are under evacuation orders. >> this is a huge concern for the entire bay area, and it's happened here. fireworks are being blamed for a fire that injured a firefighter and damaged several homes in vallejo. it started around 9:00 last night. wind whipped up the blaze before crews could get it under control. in all, about 10 homes were damaged. about ten acres scorched. we are told one firefighter you hurt his leg. firefighters are trying to determine how it started and neighbors say heard what sounded like fire works and shortly, what was sirens. >> i heard everything on the scanner, that was probably the most. it was really kilo. when they started to talk about evacuations and they did not evacuate when i saw it come over the hill, they didn't send you on the evacuation and they did this time. so it was concerning, because i was like, i need to get to sleep, but i can't. >> they have c
