we said 110 here in the bay area. but across the state there were over 1,100 cloud-to-ground lightning strikes. so this was a very busy system that moved through meeting up with the remnants of a tropical system as well as some energy that was coming in from the north. so now it's good to see things quieting down as we head into our friday. we might be making plans to get outside. and we're still looking at some fog over san francisco right now. so we will continue to see that fog linger along the coast, and that's going to keep those temperatures cool. for the inland areas it's clearing out. one thing we do after a lightning system like this comes through, we keep an eye on all those cameras to make sure we don't get any new fire starts. that's something we'll be watching throughout the day. hopefully it's nice and quiet as we head into our weekend. >> thank you, kari. so when storms do strike here in the bay area we have access for you to the same data that kari and the rest of our meteorologists are using, and you
