glenn youngkin has a point lead. in a state that donald trump lost by ten points, a republican has a real shot at winning, no bueno for democrats. >> how much of this race has to do with president biden and his slipping approval numbers? >> a lot. there's a reason why terry mcauliffe has been dropping the last two months. it pretty much goes hand in hand with joe biden's numbers dropping in the state of virginia. in october, minus 7 points in the net popularity rating. what's so important about this is it isn't just in virginia this is happening. this is happening throughout the northeast united states and nationally as well. what we see essentially when you compare the 2020 margin to the net rating in 2021, right now look at this. the difference, biden's net popularity is significantly lower, minus 13 points nationally, minus 23 points in maryland, minus 26 points in new hampshire, minus 22 points down in new jersey. so that's why we can take this result in virginia, and if glenn youngkin wins, why we extrapolate th

i've met glenn youngkin. he certainly espouses the policies of former president trump, but his personality is diametrically different. the focus of his campaign is on the issues that are important to latinos and everyday working virginias, jobs, pocketbook issues, public safety and education. he has been traveling the state driving that message home and i think that is critical. it's important to remember, boris, you both know, terry mcauliffe has been around the commonwealth for many years. he has 95% name i.d. in the state of virginia, and he has barely broken the 50% threshold in polling since he has been running for this race. right now, with the real clear politics average at 2.2% in favor of mcauliffe within with the margin of error, this is going to be a very tight race. you did a great job of showing them out on the campaign trail, connecting with these voters and talking about the issues and we've had youngkin as you've said more than 20 outreach events to latinos. the key is to continue the ground g
