that was maureen kelly reporting for us tonight. now younger children are one step closer to getting the covid-19 vaccine pfizer. >> has now submitted a request to the fda for children ages 5 to 11 to get the vaccine under emergency use authorization. as of now the vaccine is approved for emergency use for kids age 12 to 15. the fda says this panel is going to meet on october 26 to consider that request. happening right now. san mateo county has launched a covid booster clinic. there will be several clinics over the next few days. they're going to take place at the san mateo county event center. the first clinic started at 9 o'clock. it's going to open for another hour closes at 4 another clinic will also be held tomorrow as well as next tuesday and wednesday a reminder, you must be over the age of 65 or have an underlying health condition. you can also get the shot. if you have a job that puts you at an increased risk of exposure to covid the booster shot is only available for people who have received the 2 dose pfizer vaccine. oth
