our security in washington dc has been on ad. we remember what happened last january and how for a while, it seemed like there was just a big fence around the capital. the national guard was on the scene, things are being taken very seriously at this point. i understand this is in response to a bomb threat. this is not an active shooter situation or anything like that. now this is a serious bomb threat that has had, the federal agencies are concerned, the buildings are being searched and at this point, folks are on edge traffic in dc has certainly been altered by these streets being closed down. or this is a rather sensitive and important area for the united states. this is where the federal government seems to operate. we have office buildings closed down, et cetera. so we're all watching the situation, hoping that sooner they will have conducted their searches and conclude this bomb threat was not legitimate. however, if something more serious happens, we will certainly be hearing about it. thanks kind of open for that update.

that spring in allen fisher in washington dc for is alan facebook saying some users are affected, but this looks like a global outage. what's the latest? we were hearing reports from south america from across the united states, from europe, from the middle east, and from africa as well. you're right. this seems like a global outage and has already gone on a lot longer than the 2019 shut down, which lasted for a boat, an hour, which was caused by technical problems according to what's up then. they also had a couple of problems to back in march, and in july they got them sorted very quickly. but this is obviously very concerning. while the reports are on some sites which monitor outages of 80000 people being affected or 50000 people, the reality is a lot of people will see that their facebook, their, what's out there instagram is down and they won't know where to report it. so you're talking about millions of users across the world who have a problem with this. now of course there's 2 questions. what's caused this? could this just be a simple failure in the system in the cloud? that me
