store in santa rosa at the apple store there at the santa rosa plaza. witnesses say that these were between the ages of 14 and 18, wearing mostly black clothing with masks covering their faces. if you have any information, you're asked to call santa rosa police. we have an update now on a retail store burglary that we told you about earlier this week, police say they have arrested two women in connection to a break in at the real real store in downtown palo alto on sunday night, police say 20 year old kiani marie jones from richmond and 21 year old imani kibana barnes from alejo, where part of a large group that tried to break into the luxury consignment store. authorities say a private security guard called police after 30 to 40 suspects tried to break through the front glass door of the real real store in downtown palo alto . police were able to stop one of the 20 cars that were estimated to be there as they left the scene, and that's when they arrested the two women. police say they found $15,000 worth of stolen property from the real real location.

there was an apple store in the bay area, targeted in a brazen daylight robbery. camilla, what more can you tell us about these latest incidents? >> hey, alex, good morning. in this days here in santa rosa, we know at least four people came into the mall middle of the day and were able to get away with about $20,000 worth of apple product. the mall was full of customers, staff and still they were ability to get out into a car and escape. we're toweled all four men were between the ages of 14 and 18. so it is concerning and scary for a lot of people who live here in the bay area. of course, this is something that's been happening in the bay area for some time now. this is just the latest of many of these incidents. we're seeing it around the country. we're seeing cases in los angeles and chicago, for example. in some of these cases, police departments don't see this as a priority. we also know there's a huge market for these stolen goods. those are just some of the reasons why this keeps on happening. here in the bay area in particular, it has been concerning, and

we see both the high-end luxury stores whether it's louis vuitton or apple and then also at the lower end like pharmacies. walgreens announced they were closing stores because of what they called rampant shop lifting, so who is carrying out these robberies? >> well, there's a variety of players in this problem. you know, on the lower end, we have individuals that are -- this is what they do. this is how they earn -- not earn. this is how they survive. on the upper end it's organized and very organized, at the very upper end and we have everything in between. now what we have been seeing this wave of people invading stores in large numbers. there has to be a degree of organization in that. you know, we don't -- there's no way in my mind that we can have a situation where 20 -- you know, up to 80 people can invade a store, a sires of stores, and there not be some communications and some organization. how up that goes in terms of retail fencing organizations that might be sponsoring this, i believe, we believe, through our investigations that there's a degree of that. we've done a number
