the first one happening in pittsburgh, the next one happening here in concorde around 10:00. the pittsburgh one has clarity to it. police say a man met with another person, got out of his car to talk to somebody, left his car running with the child secured in their car seat. police say the man was a few feet from his car when a woman approached him, asked him for a cigarette, and when both men said they do not have any, the woman then got in the car while it was running and drove off with that child still inside. the amber alert was issued for that two-year-old and they found the child in the car, abandoned at an apartment complex. the suspect is still nowhere to be found. >> one of the neighbors heard a baby crying and when they heard the baby crying they flashed the lights and saw the baby. when they saw the baby they call the police. we do not know where this person went. ryan: police say they are still searching for that suspect. they say she is a white woman in her early 30's with a face tattoo and did not say if the incidents were related. one happened in pittsburgh, th

you can see the one where concord took place. it took place outside a wing stop restaurant. the child was recovered not too far away from that location where they were abducted. this is new video of the child. a 4-month-old baby reunited with parents last night. it was earlier in the evening when the family went into the rest stop and left their child in the van, and the van was found with the child still inside about 20 minutes later and the suspect still on the loose. and then another child abduction in pittsburg. the father was talking with a friend and adjusting the car seat, and a woman walked up and asked for a cigarette and walked off and then jumped into the driver's seat and put it in gentleman err and sped off. and the car was spotted a mile away. >> they were blocking the driveway, and the baby was screaming and crying, and the door was open and they got the baby out. >> family members and police officers took the toddler to the police department for a medical check and once the girl checked out the family took her home. they were shaken up so they didn't want to

different smash and grab robbery, this involving a mob at a concord jewelry store all caught on security video. nine masked men walked into the store with hammers. walked out with handfuls of jewelry. it was not the only time this has happened recently in the bay area. >> reporter: it was a terrifying sight. a mob of nine, storming an iceberg diamonds and started shattering jewelry cases. >> some people inside the mall called the police reporting what they thought were shots fired but it was the sound of the hammers hitting the glass. >> reporter: the whole crime took about 30 seconds and the thieves got away with armloads of jewels before security or police could get to the scene. i did a little digging, and there have been a number of these jewelry store smash and grab robberies around california this year and a handful in the bay area. but what's unique about this one is the sheer number of robbers involved. nine of them in what concord police says looks like a very well-planned crime. >> having seen this before in other cities in the bay area. i've seen it before. >> reporter: one of

oakland is one of the places reporting fog as is concord, san jose and santa rosa. you can see them all lined up on here. livermore and san francisco technically without any fog on the road. where you're likely to encounter this is the north bay and anywhere near the delta. that is where the fog is significant. those northbay valleys where you are sheltered in by the hills, the temperatures drop and you hold in the humidity and you develop fog. petaluma and santa rosa, plan on fog and spreading out from there. once you go over places like highway 37, concord to fairfield and up into napa, those are the areas. san jose is reported with fog at the airport. you can see the areas that have the fog now. 101, the delta, san jose has a little. watch how long this things on. the next two hours, don't expect a lot of improvement. it will start melting away for the south bay and then by 11:30 it has cleared out for most locations. high noon it is like it never even happened. daytime highs today will look like that when we get there. we will be back up into the mid- 70s. >>> a
