the orange just off the coastline. so does not that far away so far most that affecting the north bay right now. but that is going to slide across the entire bay area and the instability behind the system to get a little shot of cold air. i think we may see a couple thunderstorms popping up out there as well. the winds all coming up. generally out of the south. now you can out of the south, believe this to 20 miles an hour. stinson beach 13 love miles an hour to san francisco 17 up out of the south in sfo. those winds going to intensify throughout the night tonight and it's tomorrow morning. so expecting some very gusty winds, maybe 40, maybe 50 mile an hour. gust near the coastline across some of the mountain tops there of the coastal range is that will be in effect until 3 o'clock in the morning. so expect some power outages as the storm system comes through. all right. let's time this out for as you head through the night tonight seeing some of that rain around the bay area now. but a more intense rain is on the way

the system and just off the coastline. look at all that rain. we've got some very heavy rain bands that are now just beginning to show up off the coastline. bands are going to be pushing on shore moving out the east are moving the west and headed eastward and you see bands come on shore. that rain will start picking up daly city. look at 8.30, possibly seeing some heavy amounts of rain temperatures go about 8.39, in hayward about 09:25pm tonight. so everywhere around the bay area will see rain. it's just going to take some time to get there. time this out for you now. just some light showers popping up around most of the bay area now. but that won't take long by 8 o'clock or so. we're talking about some heavy amounts of rain moving in the north bay begin a stretch for the peninsula and about 10 o'clock or so we really start to get into the storm. heavy rain. some very gusty winds. maybe some gusts over 40 miles an hour out near the coastline and the coastal range is showers continue into the early morning hours and maybe e

you see all that cloud mass off the coastline. kind of the disorganized storm system. certainly not an atmospheric river event. that's going to bring a tremendous amount of rain to the bay area. but a chance of some showers on the way. and you're going to see some noticeably and the temperatures, the temperatures really going to be dropping off instead of getting in the upper 60's tomorrow. i think a lot of places maybe only in the upper 50's. so it's going to feel a lot cooler outside as much as 10 degrees cooler in parts of the bay area. let's time this out. for you overnight tonight. you're going to start to see clouds rolling in by tomorrow morning. but staying mostly dry that could be some drizzle along the coastline. but really most roadways. looking good for tomorrow morning's commute. then by the afternoon starts get a little iffy. and by tomorrow evening, we start to see some pop-up showers moving in the north bay. again, fairly light amounts and you'll see it sliding on through the front comes on through. not much energy with it as we head in toward early on
