it happened this morning in bay point, chp says it all started with a traffic stop when they tried to pull over a blue subaru. that's when officers say the driver of that car took off leading, though, on a chase after that chase chp says the car stopped face the officers. that's when the officers got out of their patrol car and that's when they say the driver of that hit the gas hitting the 2 officers, both of them were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. authorities say they later found that blue subaru. but the driver tonight is still on the run. so far, chp has not released a description of that suspect happening tomorrow oakland police chief leronne armstrong will address the media to talk about the ongoing violent holiday weekend in oakland friday night. an officer was involved in a shooting on 98th avenue in east oakland. opd says an armed man attacked and flashed a gun and one of its officers during that incident. an officer fired his service weapon at that suspect but did not hit him. officers arrested the man a short time later. but so far have not released his name. t
