cierra johnson is live. >> reporter: the lights have thankfully come on, but this time yesterday the lights were off. folks had to treat it as a four-way stop. as you can imagine with the slick roads and folks really not having any patience, it could really become dangerous. we have some video of what this area looked like last night. as you can imagine, it was dark. according to pg&e, by wednesday the power company says they restored power to more than 350,000 customers throughout northern and central california following that series of storms that started on sunday. here in the bay more than 1700 customers were without power. a pg&e spokesperson said water got into an underground vault and shorted out electrical equipment inside that vault. pg&e crews were on site to make those repairs. the rain starting to slow down since we've been out here. we are expecting some more rain. i'll leave that forecast up to rob, but you do want to be prepared for when your electricity does go out. make sure you know where those flashlights are and make sure you have your phone charger. >>> another g
