but i just talked with the vice mayor of pleasanton. she says for years people have been concerned about smoke and apparently it comes from other units, through electrical switches, an outlet, something i had no clue about. so tonight the pleasanton city council is considering a ban on smoking inside condos and town homes an effort to stop the second hand. smoke from affecting people's health of course, that concerned about children. they're concerned about people of asthma. the vice mayor says in 2017 city council approved similar restrictions. but for multi unit apartment complex is this would be for town homes condos and that's with 3 or more attached units. now the proposed code would apply to renters and owners of units. if approved restrictions would include no smoking outside to near playgrounds or parking lots and inside common areas like hallways, lobbies, community rooms. the ban would extend into outdoor private spaces like decks, patios, balconies, where the second hand smoke does. drift infect others. but these restrictions
