shannon bream, thank you so much. i want to invite jonathan turley and andy mccarthy back into the conversation. jonathan, if you had to sort of sum this up for the american people about how this could move next, what informs you most? is it knowing -- we listen to the questions by justice thomas. we listen to each of them. what informs you, the actual justices and their questions? they were very, very sensitive about the idea of not looking for the popular choice, on that was set more than once. >> first of all you often come out of these arguments with the caveat emptor type of moment or buyer beware. but this was marked by a number of questions that were more arguments than questions. the justices seemed to be speaking to each other through counsel. but what i thought was the most important aspect is that even roberts who tends to get sticker shocked and is an increment inct on the court was even slamming this line of the viability line, and you have to keep in mind, and what roberts was really hitting hard on, and

. >> joining me is shannon. it's rare for the parents of a school shooter to be criminally charged in the u.s. what is different about this case? >> it is rare. you know, we're watching this case very closely. we are very heartened that the prosecutor there wants accountability for these parents who were giving easy access to a semiautomatic handgun to a 15-year-old, and so it's really important that that accountability happens, and it's also important that other policymakers and lawmakers act in the wake of a shooting. only 23 states in washington, d.c., currently have what we call secure storage laws in effect which essentially hold gun owners accountable for keeping guns locked and unloaded and separate from ammunition. these laws are non-political, they're non-partisan and should be noncontroversial and every lawmaker in the country should be thinking about how to enact these laws at a federal and state level as soon as possible. >> i don't know how you listen to this story, shannon, and shannon doesn't list

a parent alleging shannon o conner groomed young girls for her older son and football friends. the school forwarded the reports to police. what hels happened? let's take you through. this is the first e-mail from a the parent in december 2020. the parent said shannon buys alcohol for teenagers and her child is some friends over dosed on edibles. the principal at the time responded that they'll inform police. let's look at another e-mail. this a couple months later. a detailed report from a separate parent to the school. alleging criminal contact wi o conner with girls and boys. and immoral activity of sexual nature. and reiterating she's alleging o conner was procuring young girls for her son and his friends. football players. and these are at the home parties involving alcohol and sex. this is the third e-mail. to get a sense of what the school is saying at the time. the principal e-mailed police say this has gotten out of hand and ended up changing a students schedule and offering counselling. and e-mailed to the staff. this is out of school and everyone expects us to discipl

shannon, how does the white house defend who they invited to this summit? i say this -- ian bremer, who, of course, over at your asia group, he had a pretty -- he said you look at the list of who was invited and who wasn't, and it looks like this was about the united states looking for countries that are ready to turn towards the united states and away from china and russia. but in doing that left some countries out there that are democracies that just perhaps are flirting too much with china. do they accept that critique? and is that the basis for how they invited some countries? >> reporter: yeah, i have to say i've seen that criticism a number of places as a list of countries was circulated. the white house hasn't given a full response to that. we'll expect to hear from press secretary jen psaki about that in the briefing ahead. it's also criticism we have heard about other international summits, and it does always appear there is some strategy, whether it's a global climate summit or summit on democracy, there is always a strategy behind the administrat
