bob wachter. good to see you. so, what does this data show in terms of the just how much more protection one gets from being vaccinated and then boosted again symptomatic infection, hospitalization? >> there is a variety of data from the united states but they confirm that we have seen from prior studies from england and from israel that the third shot gives you a huge amount of additional protection. two shots are better than one. one is better than zero but three, no two. the having severe enough case to go to the hospital is about 9 0%. that efficacy, that was the original efficacy from the old days and then it waned because of time and because of omicron. but that third shot brings you up to 90% protection against getting very sick and going to the hospital. there is no question that you need three shots in order to be fully protected. >> is that true whether it is versus the delta or versus omicron. >> it seems to be true for both of them. that the third shot. the studies are looking at life in the omicron er
