a breezy day in northern ireland and northern england, especially for scotland at the north—west with girls in the western isles. another mild day with temperatures not as high as they have been, the lowest around four celsius with the low cloud hanging around all day through parts of central and southern england. overnight into monday, rain turning heavier as the rains into northern scotland, it will be dry elsewhere. a lot of cloud around any breaks in the cloud, through wales and england and again a touch of frost possible perhaps with a few mist and fog patches. those is whether france will take some outbreaks of rain slowly further south, through parts of northern and western scotland and into northern ireland as we go on through monday, with barely rain to register in northern ireland. there may be some sunny spells around with parts of northern england, north wales and the midlands, to the south of that a good deal of cloud with temperatures between six — nine celsius and some patchy rain reaching northern england by monday night. tuesday, looking mainly dry, rain moving into

ireland, northern england. but we start the day off largely fine and settled with lots of sunshine around. the sunshine will hold on across central, southern and eastern parts of england through the day. cloud will build up further north and west and it'll start turning wetter and windier for northern ireland. northern and western scotland, some snow developing on the hills, gales developing across the western isles. it's going to be a chilly day across the board for sunday, highs of 5 to 9 degrees. and then through sunday evening and overnight, as storm corrie moves across the north of the uk, a real squeeze in the isobars behind the system as it pushes out into the north sea, so i think some of the greatest impacts will be felt once again across scotland. but we have a blanket yellow warning of wind gusts for the northern half of the uk, 50—60 mph gusts here, and an amber warning for the northern half of scotland, where he could see gusts 70—80 mph, maybe even stronger than that for a time across the nort

some pockets of fairly sharp frost across parts of northern england, for instance, under those clearer skies. now, for some places, that mist and fog, particularly towards the east, will be quite slow to clear through the day tomorrow. but for most places we are looking at another dry day, some sunshine around for parts of northern england, wales, scotland, as well, and later in the day that mist and low cloud will tend to break up further south. so temperatures close to the east only about 5 degrees or so tomorrow, but turning a little bit milder, just about pushing into double figures from the west. now, as we head through saturday night and on into sunday, a little bit of a change as we see quite a weak weather front, a cold front pushing its way down from the north. that will bring initially a bit of rain to scotland and northern ireland overnight. during sunday, that willjust push its way across central parts of england and wales, but tending to peter out as it does so. one or two showers to the south of that, as well, but by the afternoon most places in the clearer skies. there w
