so when we launched from our airport in auburn when you're about 30 to 35 knots gusting, and by the time we got up to the location in that remote area the winds had increased 50 to 55 knots in the area of the cabin. it was a nice , sunny day, but the wind was definitely a factor for my pilot to land and there's a very technical manning for us, but describe how challenging and frankly dangerous that is for a small aircraft to make that kind of landing. considering the conditions you just describe. it is very much so you have to factor in a lot of things that way to the aircraft. the location. we're gonna be landing . it was a very confined area, so to speak, but luckily there was a meadow near the cabin that was approximately 3 to 4 ft of snow. that had been iced over for some time due to the cold temperatures and the lack of snow over the course of the last couple weeks. so my pilot, dan lewis was able to do a really good job. of fighting those winds and taking your time, but we were eventually able to get safely on the ground and make contact with them. you were the paramedic. we unders
