it will create access in fremont for bart writers. we shot some video so you can get a closer look at the bridge that connects the station to fremont's innovation district where there are a lot of technology companies and i am told that more are popping up. tesla is here, and this gives those workers a direct path to bart. before they had to navigate around a railroad track that runs between the innovation district. there are a lot of homes over there, and the bart station. they would have to go around and it was a mess and added another hassle. building the bridge was necessary to create access to this new station. the station was built in 2017 but no good having a station if you do not have access. everyone is excited when it comes at a time when ridership is low. it is nowhere near its pre-pandemic levels. the hope is that as people decide to come back they will be pleased to find income back to a new bridge to help access and improve their experience, so very proud to unveil this new bridge. reporting live in fremont, amy hollyfie
