a winter storm warnings in in the sierra nevada will remain into tomorrow. i expect these to likely expire may be a little bit quicker than 04:00pm tomorrow. a winter weather advisories a little lower in elevation in the blue. there. that's where we'll see anywhere from 2 to 4 inches of snowfall from 2000 to 3,000 feet in elevation, you had above 4,000 feet. you start talking 8 to 12 inches and above that's towards the crest of the sierra beyond 18 inches. so this is very nice to be seeing this. not necessarily a drought buster, but it is working our way in a good direction. so hoping for more of this snowfall in the sierra continues through the day. they area pretty quiet. don't rule out a few sprinkles here there and the isolated chance of a thunderstorm, especially towards the central valley on into the afternoon today, we have a very unsettled cold air mass that's pushing in right now. that's one of the reasons tomorrow morning is going to be so so cold with freez warnings, taking effect, starting at 02:00am for much of the north bay. and it's not just c
