thank you so much for joining us here on the kron. 4 morning kron. 4 news at 3. i'm noelle bellow. authorities say they are searching for an armed and dangerous suspect who shot someone earlier today within the past 10 minutes we've learned the victim has died. we do have a picture of the homicide suspect, francisco gonzalez. the shooting happened shortly before noon in the monte rio neighborhood near the russian river. people living in the area east of bohemian highway as well as south and east of the river are being told to shelter in place. the sheriff's office and swat teams are on scene searching for gonzalez now. he said to be about 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing a blanket over his arms and he was wearing red tennis shoes. if you see him, you're asked not to approach him but to instead call 9-1-1, immediately. kron four's. dan kerman is following this story. he's going to bring us more details coming up on kron. 4 news at 5. meanwhile, we're continuing to follow a tragic story from sacramento. a father killed his 3 young girls and the man before then turning the gun on

kron. 4 news. well, petaluma man is under arrest after getting caught one officers recognize the pattern. he reportedly like stealing lottery tickets. now. >>police say that the first crime happened this past saturday at speedway gas station right off of lake ville highway there in petaluma. now the suspect identified as 43 year-old william kennedy junior reportedly threatened a store employee with a gun stole cash from the register and then took lottery tickets on his way out. police say that they were able to identify kennedy through surveillance video. they were on their way to arrest him at his place of work in samara fell. but on the way, they got a call about another similar gas station, robbery happening just minutes away. and in that case, a similar scenario. suspect taking lottery tickets in claiming to have a gun at the gas station. they found candidate and they took him into custody. he's now in the murray county jail for robbery charges in sandra fell. the will also face the same charge
