general walters, i know that this isn't because of you. unfortunately, i think you are on the receiving end of a lot of frustration from people because of the way we received information regarding ukraine. we need to continue to keep a lot of what is happening on the ground in ukraine in a classified space. america has plunged into a military crisis for which the leadership seems unprepared and unaccountable. i talked to a lot of veterans. we've got fort campbell, we've got the engineering, the u.s. naval station, we've got a lot loadof military in our state ani think people really want transparency and answers and accountability. interestingly enough, silence is a message. silence is a very strong message, and it's not a message of strength. i think it does not work in concert with which this nation was founded so i hope that in the near future this committee is going to be able to have an open hearing on the issue with what is happening in ukraine. i want to go on to a long-term concern we've discussed and regardless of what is happening
