changes statewide are mostly in northern california. we have severe extreme drought covering sonoma county, that is the second-worst category. the good news is, we have no exceptional drought on the map at this point but as we get into the dry months we are likely to see that return. some good news is that things are not quite as they were a year ago when we are getting out of the last underwhelming rainy season, the drought conditions were in that extreme to exceptional category across the bay area. let's take a look back at the current map, that is on the lower right. three months ago, six months ago, and a year ago. late march of 2021, we have extreme to exceptional drought across the bay area which only got worse as we went through the dry months of the year. at least it is not quite as bad, but we look at soil moisture measured by the california water watch which is using satellite data and we are still extremely dry across the entire bay area. marine shading means we are in the bottom percentile for this time of year. think back t
