and called san jose police. san jose police were already investigating, of course, along with the fbi, they were searching for that man who was caught on surveillance video, that video that we had of the baby, a distance from the original location. this is the suspect that was captured on video yesterday right around 1:00 when the baby was taken from his grandmother's home and san jose police tell us that they believe that man is one of the three people in custody. it appears that this was a premeditated kidnapping, as that man showed up to grandma's house with his own carrier in order to take baby brandon away. now, we spoke with the sergeant of the san jose police department who says there is one other person who is also in custody, a woman who was with the grandma yesterday as she was doing that shopping, and in answering questions to police, she gave some inconsistent answers. her story just didn't seem to add up, so she has been in the custody of san jose police answering questions since about 1:00 yesterda

this morning, san jose police identifying these three people as suspects. jose portillo, yesenia ramirez and baldomeo sandoval. they all live in san jose and are expected to be in court tomorrow to answer to charges of kidnapping, conspiracy to commit kidnapping, child abduction, and home invasion. police say portillo is the man in this surveillance video that we've been showing you since monday. today officers said he was bog to the apartment to take the baby. he is carrying an empty baby carrier in this video. today we obtained another piece of video showing portillo leaving the apartment in the other direction, just four minutes later. this time baby brandon is in that carrier, heading gray the apartment. again, this is in san jose near bellarmine college prep. investigators say portillo came into the apartment and kidnapped the baby while his grandmother unloaded groceries from her car outside. this is new video of the grandmother returning after going to walmart. she is with ramirez, one of the three arrested in the case. ramirez is the woman. officers

okay san jose police say the twisted metal and damaged vehicles in north san jose friday morning were a result of an alleged carjacking suspect trying to escape arrest primary reason for this collision. is the violation of a solid red light, police investigators say 10 days claray sheriff's deputies spotted an os only able to do a procedure pursuit. if they believe if they have a reasonable suspicion that the driver or an occupant of the vehicle was engage, engaged in a crime of violence, or i suspected of being engaged in a crime of violence. the driver of the crv speeds south on north first street and hits the driver of a white toyota, which had a green light and was traveling east on montague expressway. the 18 year old driver of the crv is hurt in the crash and dies later from his injuries. three other people inside the vehicle one man and two teenage juvenile girls are injured and hospitalized. i don't have information about custody status, obviously, as the investigation proceeds we'll see and we submitted to the district attorney's office. we'll see if there are charges pending

police say the man entered that home in san jose on elm street. near interstate 80 80 and then walked out with a little three month old babies. family says they do not know that man. police released a description of the kidnapper. he is described as a dark latino wearing black pants, a dark blue shirt, gray shoes with white trim and a black face mask. the baby's car seat is described as black and color with white blanket. you are asked to call 911 if you see the man or that baby. the faa is investigating a daredevil stunt that led to a small plane crash in the arizona desert yesterday. two stunt pilots, who are also cousins plan to switch the planes. they were flying in midair, with each jumping into the other cockpit, one of the cessna's spiraled out of control and crashed the pilot. he was supposed to jump into that one parachuted to the ground. the other pilot was able to get into the other plane and landed. both men are fine. the faa says it denied the pilot's request for certain safety exemptions to carry out that stunt. well the first all co

san jose. police say the public to not just watch the surveillance video of brandon quay ares kidnapping. >> but they also repost it on social media, helping police track down and arrest the man seen walking away with the baby carrier. we followed every lead we had. >> we use no information from witnesses. information from video surveillance that we located. and ultimately were able to find the bait. the 3 months old grandmother was babysitting while his mother, jessica quay are was at work. >> police say the grandmother was in another room putting away groceries when the man walked inside and snatched the baby. a woman who was with the grandmother at the time of the kidnapping has also been arrested after her story to investigators changed multiple times. local authorities and the fbi were 20 plus hours to track down baby brandon and the people responsible for his kidnapping. and they worked every lead to the ground until we had a resolution. and thankfully, in this case >> they be brandon and

san jose police say this is the suspect they're looking for. he's described as an hispanic man with dark complexion and short hair. he was dressed at the time in black pants, dark blue shirt, gray air jordans and a gray baseball hat. police say he was also wearing a black face mask. baby brandon cuellar is just 3 months old. when he was taken, he was wearing just a little white onsie with dinosaurs on it. certainly not enough clothing for these chilly early morning hours. his grandmother was watching him while his mom was at work and took him into the apartment while she went back out to the car to pick up some groceries. from the car, something that a lot of parents have done, in that time the suspect went in and casually walked out with the baby. family is desperate to find him and to comfort his mother, but they say police have not allowed them to talk with her nor approach the home. >> if you have this baby, please get that baby back to its mother. we can deal with consequences after. anybody who is a mother or a father, you don't love anyt

the san jose police chief called this a parent's worst nightmare. we are glad to report this morn that the 3-month-old is safe and probably sleeping right now. right next to his mother. he was taken from his home monday, san jose police say video of a silver van seen driving in the neighborhood cracked this case. police say that the van was used in the kidnapping but it's also connected to a woman with the grandmother when the baby was taken. that woman was arrested, arrested another man seen in video carrying that baby from the home and also a third monday so three people are in police custody. investigators analyzed surveillance video and were able to catch all three involved. it has people who live in this neighborhood asking why and how. >> i'm very confused because who can come into your home with a little baby bin to carry this child out? who can be so daring and ugly? >> there is no motive at this point. we will be asking police how these suspects are connected to the family because they dotel us there is some type of connection. police say t
